To wear or not to wear...

Light tones, cozy vibes, and most importantly- what represents your personal style!

Choosing outfits doesn’t have to be hard or stressful! After doing photography for 5+ years, here are a few tips I've picked up along the way :)

Go soft, not loud.

Think earth tones: sage green, worn wood, soft peach, dusty blue, ivory, & terracotta are classic options that you can never go wrong with.

Coordinate, don’t match.

I would say there are a few exceptions, but the general rule is to choose colors that play well together, not match. For example: one in cream, the other in dusty blue. The coordination adds to the visual story, keeping it interesting and fun!

Choose natural textures.

This is so important. I. Love. Layering. Linen, lace, suede- in photography, textures create visual interest, creating depth and emotion. It all plays part in telling your story :)

your comfort is key.

If you love your outfit and feel good in it, you’ll relax & it shows.

Still unsure? I’ve got a Pinterest board of outfit inspo I’m happy to share or feel free to text me a photo and I’ll help you brainstorm!
