As you know, I'm Matea, a photographer based in Prosper, Texas. Even baby Matea found joy in capturing the world around her—whether through a camera lens or a paintbrush. I have been capturing  beautiful people for 5 years now and every second has been a joy! For me, photography is a way to freeze a moment in time, just like painting that is able to be enjoyed for years to come. Every photo is a reflection of a beautiful, fleeting memory in God's creation that deserves to be cherished. I believe in capturing real, raw moments—those candid, unposed smiles, the stolen glances, and the little details that speak volumes. My goal is always to highlight your personality and story. It’s not about me or my equipment—it’s about you and your journey. The most important thing is that I'm able to honor my creator with what I love doing, photography.

Being closer in age to high school seniors and young couples allows me to connect with my clients in a unique way. I understand the moments that matter because I’m living them too!

At 14 years old, she kept in contact with me, sent me directions, followed up (even when I wrote down the date and time!), and had paperwork ready for me onsite. When we arrived, she carefully instructed us in our posing and locations.
